Partnership Overview

 

Bajic Capital is registered alternative investment management company based in Zagreb, Croatia. This structure falls under Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (HANFA) simplified regime (registered AIF, Art. 8(2)). It is subject exclusively to specific reporting and registration obligations (Arts. 16a–16f, 19, 20) and is exempt from the full scope of the AIF Law.

The firm was founded in 2026 with the goal of providing a simple and cost-effective path to long-term investing. Bajic Capital manages a single investment fund, the Bajic Partnership, which invests in publicly listed companies. ​​This simplicity allows full concentration on investing and on delivering the best possible long-term results. Partners can evaluate performance without complexity, layers of products, or unnecessary distractions. This clarity of purpose is a central part of how Bajic Capital operates.

The partnership follows a structured investment process that narrows a global universe of listed companies to a small number of qualifying investments based on risk, business quality, and valuation. The resulting portfolio is focused, with no use of leverage, derivatives, and low turnover driven by long-term ownership. Investments are made only when a sufficient margin of safety exists between price and intrinsic value, with capital deployed gradually rather than continuously. The portfolio is not constructed relative to benchmarks, but reflects a bottom-up selection of businesses that meet strict criteria.

Founder and Managing Partner

The company is led by founder and Managing Partner Tomislav Bajić. He launched Bajic Capital with his own personal savings and developed the firm’s investment philosophy and investment process. As Managing Partner, he is responsible for portfolio management and capital allocation, ensuring that all investment decisions are made in line with the partnership’s long-term principles.

Tomislav holds Master’s degrees in Finance and Macroeconomics from the University of Zagreb and is a CFA and CAIA charterholder.

He began his career in 2009 as a Research Analyst at InterCapital Securities, where he became Head of Research in 2012. In 2016, he joined A-Z Pension Funds where he became Portfolio Manager and Member of the Investment Committee, managing a global equity portfolio of approximately €350 million. From 2019 to 2026, he served as Head of Investor Relations at Hrvatski Telekom.

Alongside his professional career, Tomislav is active in academia as a Lecturer at the Zagreb School of Economics and Management and a guest lecturer at the Zagreb Stock Exchange Academy.​​​
